  1. Inform 6.14 Amiga port
  2.  
  3. This port was prepared by Richard H. Poser II.  If you have access to a
  4.    68030-based machine, you should use that version.
  5.  
  6.    This is an update to the Amiga version of Inform 6.14 which
  7. removes one bug, which is in every version of inform, which is most 
  8. noticeable in the Amiga version (With only one source file to date 
  9. causing it to show up)

  11. Bug: It was possible to overwrite the end of the $MAX_STATIC_STRINGS
  12.      array if set to the default value - The fix which is to be
  13.      implemented in Inform 6.15 causes $MAX_STATIC_STRINGS to be at
  14.      least twice that of $MAX_QTEXT_SIZE, reducing the possibility of
  15.      overwriting the end of the array.

  17.    This version also has improved error handling and uses Amiga specific
  18. memory calls in the start of implementation of a Workbench Graphical
  19. Interface (The Interface is not included in this version)

  24. If you suspect you have encountered a bug in Inform, post your code, along
  25.    with what behaviour you're getting, to rec.arts.int-fiction.  Inform has
  26.    gone through many revisions; there may yet be bugs in it, but lately, many 
  27.    bugs have proven to be misunderstandings of the compiler's described
  28.    behaviour.

  37.    providing a bunch of excellent games, most of which I still haven't played
  38.    yet.
